End of the World: Big Business and Deception

“…prophecy pundits tirelessly proclaim that current world events ‘are all prophesied right in the Bible’ and now being fulfilled…They’ve been doing this for over 170 years…sizeable financial rewards can come from the right alarming message…this kind of big business Bible preaching can be corrupting [and] often vulgarizes the real intent of prophetic passages…” – Brian Godawa

It’s time for an adult conversation. The war in Iran didn’t bring about Armageddon, third temples, blood moons, raptures, or red heifers. Nor will the next war. For eighteen or so centuries, no one believed these things. Most of the Christian world officially still does not. So why have these beliefs taken a cult-like hold in some circles, influencing politics, and even feeding into death and destruction around the world?

We must turn to history, and also see why these beliefs are not biblical, and often very far removed from centuries of theological thought and study. The historic creeds, at most, commit one or two sentences to the end times. None of the things promoted by the modern end times industry are mentioned. And for good reason. Jesus didn’t teach them.

A long overdue correction is needed. We will return to this in more detail in due time, but for now consider there has been a dark deception hiding in plain sight for decades.

And it could send the world into chaos.
